Regional Sales Manager (Pesticides) -Telangana
- Responsible for sales, collections, and profits at a regional level. Prepares budgets and sales plan in collaboration with the GM/ZM.
- Guides the team and monitors the sales, collections, stock liquidation. Responsible for designing and implementing schemes for promoting sales and conducts product demonstrations for old and new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales forecast, sales plan and budgets for the region, in partnership with the leadership
- Responsible for achieving the profit and sales targets for the region
- Responsible for preparing budgets for the region in partnership with the leadership
- Ensures achievement of monthly sales and collection targets for top 5 products in the region
- Responsible for planning, forecasting and maintaining optimum level of inventory in the region
- Monitor the sales returns and bad debts within the region
- Plan and ensure availability of products in co-ordination with Supply Chain
- Develop a short-and long-term marketing plans within the earmarked marketing budgets
- Establishes the product pricing in partnership with the Sales leadership
- Build, expand and motivate & manage the dealer channel that promotes JU products
- Ensure development and promotion schemes are designed and implemented for promoting sales
- Ensure Sales team conducts regular training, product demonstrations for dealers / farmers
- Monitors competition by gathering competitor information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions;
- Defines targets for each sales team member in the region
- Track and review sales performance through monthly and quarterly reviews with the team
- Ensure to sales teams are well-trained and equipped to be productive
- Monitors the sales organization's compliance with required standards and policies
- Build, motivate and guide the team to drive and grow the business within the region
- Develop and generate regional sales MIS
Qualification And Experience:
1. BSc in Agri with 10+ years of relevant experience in sales of pesticides products (herbicides, fungicides, weedicides; plant growth regulators etc.).
2. Excellent Tracker record in Sales and Business development.
3. Ideal candidate should have been a successful field sales professional at regional level and having territorial knowledge in Telangana Area.
4. Knowing the Regulatory environment for sales of pesticides in various states and ensuing compliance.
