- Achieve set objectives on distribution, sales, visibility & merchandising in existing and emerging channels of distribution.

- Develop, implement, and regularly review coverage plan with the objective of ensuring optimum servicing of outlets

- Conceive and implement innovative trade promotion activities and facilitates / coordinate execution of marketing activities and events.

- Recruit distributors and effective management of the dealer network by conducting regular performance reviews and audits on inventory, investment in credit,distribution expenses and service to Retail.

- Provide quality leadership to the team consisting of ASM's and BDE's. This implies effective communication, motivation, coaching and constantly giving direction to ensure achievement of overall team, region and organizational objectives.

- Have the quality to network and develop good relationships with the top clients in the Region. This should be combined with the ability to be completely updated on developments in the industry and in retail environment.

- Be a complete team player and be a member of the India Mass Trade sales think tank combined with the maturity to develop good healthy relationships with peers.

- Develop strategies, guidelines and plans for developing & executing the 1) distribution, 2) Sales, 3) visibility 4) trade activities and 5) organization in trade channels which include Retail, Wholesale & Standalone Modern Trade.

- Develop a strategy for the distributor's selection/network and provide right guidance to ASM's.

- Develop, train/coach, measure performance, payments, ROI and take action on termination thru ASM if necessary.

- Define, develop and manage the ASM's and team of BDE's. Train and motivate the sales force.

- Initiate and implement various incentives schemes to the trade and to the sales force to secure achievement of the sales objectives.

- Manage and develop the distribution and sales by

1) reviewing daily/weekly/monthly distribution and sales figures from all Head office and

2) sharing regular inputs and strategic directions with Head Quarter.

- Review the monthly competition data available, issues a summary on distribution & sales to the markets and follow-up on the action plan to develop the distribution.

- Implement, train [all concerned] and monitor processes for the distribution/sales force as well as all the sub-distributors and wholesalers (where appropriate)

- Work closely (meetings, trainings, share learning's, aligning plans, re-applying successful models,...) with the regional / Area teams and HO.

- Responsible for development and growth of market by initiating various business development strategies for achieving the assigned commercial objectives that would be a key contribution towards key account development
