Regional Sales Manager - Passenger Vehicle
Sales:
1. Achievement of model wise, monthly, and annual vehicle wholesale and retail sales target & Targeted market share for his/her region;
2. Preparation & execution of annual dealer business plan & get dealer commitment for same
3. Achievement of sales targets in sub verticals of fleet & corporate sales
4. Reduce variability amongst his/her set of dealerships
Dealer Management:
1. Cultivate and manage strong relationship with dealer principals
2. Ensure DP's commitment & involvement in business
3. Track Business growth at dealership and take desired steps to ensure profitability of dealership
4. Ensure achievement of dealer wise business processes & customer satisfaction scores
5. Ensure timely dealer pay-outs for all sales related eligible claims before 15th of month
6. Ensure least gaps in uniform implementation of company policy, strategy and tactical schemes
7. Understand and advise Dealer on Financials
Field Operations:
1. Guide, lead and mentor the sales field operation teams to achieve the Business objectives
2. Sales process deployment, and standards implementation across network
3. Monitor & improve the processes and standards across network through engagement of network teams
4. Recruitment of qualified and competent resources across network
5. Run desired promotional campaigns as necessary to achieve targeted leads in conjunction with Marketing department
6. High penetration level of BTL implementation in experiential selling to keep brand consideration high
7. Create a highly responsive feedback mechanism; Initiatives; Consumer Finance needs and schemes
Allied Businesses & Activities:
1. Ensure targeted Finance and Insurance penetration at Dealerships
2. Develop and maintain strong relationship with local media, agencies,
3. Develop accessories business as an additional source of revenue stream for dealerships
Sales Planning, Stock Management & Budget Planning:
1. Three-month advance stock planning input to Plant
2. Management and maintenance of desired level of new car stock at dealers
3. Tactical budget management & running tactical & retail incentive scheme
4. Monitor and control expenses as per approved budget
Reporting and Payment:
1. Maintains Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports of the sales trends and actions in place (deliveries, bookings),maintain and analyse all records of minutes of meeting and dealer interactions 2.Ensures that the actions decided in the minutes are put into place and follow up the actions
3. Ensures timely payment of all eligible claims of dealership before 10th of subsequent month
4. Escalates unresolved issues at next superior level so that business does not get impacted
5. Makes a complete presentation for each underperforming operational dealers with all issues
6. Collection of funds from dealers for new cars and other ensure no outstanding of company remains
7. Analyse data and trends for his/her region; create information network for lead indicators of Dealer health, market sensing analysis
Forecasting capabilities Leadership:
1. Managing and delegating work to direct reports
2. Create a healthy working environment within the team
3. Motivate the team to achieve the target
