Regional Sales Manager
Job Identification:
- Ensure all sales areas portray a professional, corporate image at all times.
Role of the Department:
- The Sales Department is responsible for driving revenues for specific region across all (Managed IT Infra support, End User Support, Network Operation Management, Data Centre Management, Cyber Security support, Application Support, Remote Infrastructure Support, Service Desk, System Integration, etc. and IT products), expanding market share and by increasing share of wallet. The department must contribute to corporate marketing and branding initiatives productively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of department at regional level; including the general running of the department, setting budgets, minimising risks, maximising opportunities, developing and executing sales plans, achieving the department's targets; and seeking to positively influence the progression and growth of the department.
- Nurture & deepen existing customer relationships & add new ones.
- Ensure that 'enhancing customer productivity' is a consistent part of the dialogue with customer, thereby letting the customers trust that it is Customer First & Always.
- Be truthful in interacting with customers, colleagues & any other parties engaged with organisation. Always keep the commitments you make with an intention to win trust & bring reliability in relationships.

- Drive quarterly rhythm of sales / revenue targets.
- Responsible for Business Development - to map and bring new business / large customer accounts.
- Drive sales productivity numbers and achieve YoY improvement.
- Review your department using standardized metrics.
- Compile detailed reports that capture successes and opportunities.
- Keep up to date with competitor's activities and initiatives and customer trends.
- Timely submission of proposal with compliance as customer process requirements. Tracking of opportunities which are in line with our focus areas.
- Maintain relations and co-ordinate with leading OEM suppliers.
- Drive corporate initiatives across sales team.
- Work effectively as part of the senior management team and coordinate, collaborate & cooperate with peers in achieving corporate objectives.
- Build harmonious interdepartmental relationships at peer level.
- Catalyst to growth and profitability of the organization.
Requirements for the Role:
1. Minimum Educational Qualification: MBA with B E or B Tech or B Sc or B A.
2. Minimum Experience: 10 years, with min 5 years in IT industry, 3 years in IT/ITES Sales, 2 years at leadership role, handling a sizeable team and order booking target
3. Hands on experience in IT (services & products) selling.
4. Experience in selling to enterprise customers - large & SME, ministries, departments & PSUs of state or central government.
5. Will be required to assume complete responsibility of tracking, creating, and maintaining all bids & proposals.
6. He/she has enthusiasm for the job, willingness to travel, encourages others, and copes well under pressure.
7. Proven track record in growth and profitability management and effective team handling.
