Job Purpose:
The role is to lead and launch a new Ice Cream Brand in General Trade & Horeca across West Region. Understanding of marketplace, consumer, and category trends, as well as broader marketing and merchandising strategies to establish new customers.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for the launching and day-to-day management of the Sales team for the General Trade & Horeca division across respective Regions.
2) Provides general business and operational guidance while leading through influence. Drive Company goals, including KPIs and targets, and maximize Sales growth.
3) Capture maximum market share in the respective categories/markets, Understand the marketplace, consumer, and category trends, as well as broader marketing and merchandising strategies to establish new customers.
4) Engage with Key Customers and build rapport thereby generating business opportunities, Also, take care of post-sales support required by the Key accounts.
5) Contribute & Implement sales growth strategy supporting regional strategy, Identification, and implementation of new profitable volume opportunities within the account(s) to increase the business growth.
6) Provide time-to-time market intelligence to the company
7) Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide appropriate feedback.
Experience, Education & Skills
- Experience in the management & development of Sales across Regions in the MNC FMCG sector only.
- MBA with at least 10 years of industry experience of which 5 - 8 years in handling big accounts with team management experience.
- Strong business acumen, and relationship-building skills and must be highly influential.
- Strong strategic and decision-making skills.
