About the job:

A leading Indian manufacturer of Fragrance , Flavours and Aroma Chemicals catering to customers into manufacture of Personal Care, Home Care, Processed Foods, Confectionaries, Beverages, Savoury and Bakery segments across India and Abroad

Role : Regional Sales Manager - Fragrances (North India)

Location: Delhi

- Geographic Scope : Should have prior work experience of selling fragrances to Personal Care and Home Care Customers in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh

Job Duties And Responsibilities:

- Build in-depth market, brand and consumer understanding for the assigned product categories

- Develop new customer and distributors and work closely with existing local customers and distributors in the area allotted

- Manage & support local projects (proactive/reactive) to meet deadlines and customer's requirements, through identifying their needs.

- Research new sources of trend information and analyze new product launch information to understand consumer preferences and behaviors

- Use market and consumer knowledge and insights to actively seeking new opportunities

- Lead and manage projects to ensure that they meet customer's requirements by working closely with technical, consumer research and marketing teams.

- Monitor account sales performance (monthly/ quarterly/annually) and provide strategic project updates to line management.

- Identify areas for continuous improvements and implement efficient and smart ways of working

- Coordinate win/loss analysis and share project learning via knowledge management system with support of line management.

Required Skill And Qualifications:

- 7-12 years of Fragrance & cosmetic Industry Sales or Marketing relevant experience.

- Experience and contact with local customers and distributors

- Passionate about Fragrances and an ability, or interest in learning to recognize olfactive notes, Taste profiles of fragrances

- Professionalism to deliver the agreed output as per aligned timeline with stakeholders

- Strong desire to learn from key successes and failure to seek continuous improvement

- Very good team player with positive 'Can Do' attitude & collaborative mindset

- Should be willing to travel around and if required relocate

- Ability to manage challenging deadlines and work pressure

- Good communication (written & verbal) skills in English, Hindi and proficiency in the local language.

- Working knowledge of the fragrance market in different parts of India.

- Should be stationed in Delhi for North and should be localite

Education Qualifications - Graduation or post-graduation/Business/Marketing
