Regional Sales Manager - North
- The position has overall responsibility for increasing sales, profitability and market share for a defined state
- He incumbent will lead the business development efforts in the branches through the sales team in alignment with the sales policy of the organization
- Developing the regional sales plan from the overall business strategy, targets and expenses budget and thereafter monitoring and analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Preparing monthly sales plan along with sales schemes based on the annual plan Volume
- Planning and monitoring new product launches in co-ordination with the central marketing team & the zone.
Strategic : To actively support the creation of sales strategy, budgets and schemes for effecting increase in market share, sales turnover and profit orientation for the zone.
Team Management & Development : To develop a strong organization in line with the overall HR policy of the company. Manage performance of the team. (Attrition rates, training per employee, sale per employee etc)
Process & Innovation : Improve sales efficiency and effectiveness by creating, recommending and implementing processes that improve customer and business orientation
- Forwarding sales plan and sales forecast given to ASM's
- Collecting competitor pricing and send it to Commercial department
- Analysis of market trends and future prospects
- Supporting analysis of market trends and future prospects
- Attend Trade Fairs as local country representative - ensuring appropriate market data finds its way back to the business
- Responsible for developing and implementing promotional plans in conjunction with other areas
Qualification :
Someone from FMCG MBA with specialization in sales & marketing from a premier institute, 8 Plus years post qualification, thorough experience in sales.
