Working Experience - South Market working experience is mandatory
Working Experience - 8years+
Education - Tier 1 / Tier 2 MBA College.
- Candidate who has worked as ASM GT for 3 to 4years and currently doing Trade Marketing / Sales Development role, is a good match for this role.
- Working experience into Beverage product line is a bonus.
- In this role the team of ASM will report into this position.
- As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing collections, acquiring new customers, developing markets, and managing stock within your designated region. You will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the efficient distribution of products.
- The position requires strong leadership skills, excellent sales acumen, and a strategic approach to market development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the general trade sales teams in translating strategy into sales business plans and go-to market strategy within budgeted costs.
- Prepare and maintain annual sales & distribution plans to deliver budgeted revenue, Profit and Brand equity targets for the year based on category and channel.
- Enhance market penetration by setting up and managing the General trade distribution.
- Distributor and Retailer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our brand values and objectives.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, channels, and potential partners within the general trade sector to increase brand presence and sales. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the general trade segment.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned region.
- Collaborate with distributors to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. Develop market entry strategies for new product launches or expansion into new territories.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG industry, with a focus on the general trade segment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the general trade distribution channels, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for the cosmetic industry
