Job Title: RSM (Regional Sales Manager)
Job Description: As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing collections, acquiring new customers, developing markets, and managing stock within your designated region. You will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the efficient distribution of products. The position requires strong leadership skills, excellent sales acumen, and a strategic approach to market development.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned region.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, setting clear sales objectives and motivating them to achieve outstanding results.
- Collaborate with key accounts and distributors to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
2. Collection:
- Oversee the collection process to ensure timely payment from customers.
- Work closely with the finance department to resolve any outstanding payment issues.
- Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and improve collection efficiency.
3. New Customer Acquisition:
- Identify potential customers and explore opportunities to expand the customer base in the region.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to generate new business leads.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify unique selling propositions for attracting new customers.
4. Market Development:
- Assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify untapped opportunities and potential threats.
- Develop market entry strategies for new product launches or expansion into new territories.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share.
5. Stock Management:
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate inventory at all times.
- Forecast demand and plan stock allocation to meet sales requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- Address stock-related issues, such as stockouts or overstock situations, to maintain optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
- MBA TIER 1
- 2-5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Male candidates preferred.
