We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to join our team and drive growth in the General Trade (GT) segment across North India. Job Overview: As the Regional Manager for North India in the General Trade division, you will be responsible for overseeing sales and distribution activities in the region. Your primary focus will be on premium products, and you will work closely with distributors and target stores to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the General Trade segment for North India.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring they are aligned with the company's objectives and expectations.
3. Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and channel partners across the region, ensuring optimal coverage and penetration.
4. Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns in the region.
6. Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team, providing coaching and guidance to achieve their targets.
7. Maintain a deep understanding of competitor activities and market dynamics to stay ahead in the premium product segment.
8. Ensure that product availability, visibility, and merchandising are optimized in target stores.
9. Monitor and analyze sales data, track KPIs, and prepare reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales and management experience in the FMCG & Beverages industry, with a focus on General Trade.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Expertise in premium product sales and distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of distributors, channel management, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with target stores and an ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
- A KDegree in business or a related field is preferred.
