Role Summary: Regional Sales Manager-South | Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
To lead the Sales Strategy and plan for the Zone. RSM will be heading the entire region's Sales & Distribution and execution of sales Plan. RSM will drive the maximization of volume and revenue for the Zone in a sustainable way. He has to work towards integrated market execution and market expansion for the Business Unit.
Reporting To: General Manager - Sales, PAN India
Qualification: Management Graduate from reputed Institutes
Experience:
- 8+ years- experience in sales & intensive distribution, FMCG business ONLY
- Good knowledge of South Markets, based out in Bangalore /Hyderabad preferably
- Able to handle a team of 30-40 team size with exposure of handling large distribution network with intensive travelling
- Hindi, English, and / or Knowledge of Local South Indian languages
- Reports to GM Sales and dotted line to ME & MM in Corporate Office, will lead SE, ASE, SSO, SO, SR, ISR, Merchandiser of entire region

Roles & responsibilities:
- Zone Sales Strategy Development - Analyze market research reports to identify gaps and opportunities within the Zone to develop the Zone sales strategy based on the national sales strategy and inputs from channel
- Capability Development, to focus on developing efficient sales processes and routines through capability building systems. Coach and develop the sales team, track capability status within the Zone team & work towards building a world class selling organization
- Sales Plan Development: Develop, review and regularly update the monthly sales plan and initiatives with inputs from sales managers and analysis of trends and other factors; develop and regularly track horizontal expansion plan to achieve growth as planned
- Budget Allocation: Allocate monthly marketing budgets (through Data Management Executive) and trade marketing budgets (from Management Expense Ratio) to the Sales Managers to help them achieve sales targets, track and review expenditure and provide exceptional approvals
- Sales Management: Interact with other function heads to resolve sales issues, work in cross functional teams to ensure demand fulfilment and compliance with Organization norms on credit and other policies
- Market Execution: Lead the sales team to drive market execution as per sales standards; guide team in improving market execution performance. Plan activities to counter competition moves, review and approve develop marketing programs and promotions
- People Management: Work proactively with the HR in the develop and Manage as well as drive engagement in the zone, inclusive of Retailers, Distributors, Stockiest, Key Account holders
- Finance & Commercial Management: Will be responsible for Collections from the trade in all segments
