Detailed Responsibilities (Major responsibilities of this position) :
- Preparing monthly sales plan along with sales schemes based on the annual plan (Volume)
- Preparing sales forecast with Sales head and Head - Branded Sales for the current month (package and product mix)
- Forwarding sales plan and sales forecast given to ASM's
- Collect competitor pricing, analyse it and send it to Commercial department
- Discussing with commercial department and impart feedbacks to commercial in order to fix the price of various oils
- Analyzing and reviewing the market feedback
- Formulating the sales strategy based on the feedback analysis
- Planning and budgeting various trade promotion activities (distributor & retailers) for the entire zone
- Monitoring and measuring impact of various trade promotions and provide feedback to the Sales Head
- Studying distributor wise, sales officer wise performance data submitted by ASM
- Taking stock data from distributors and arriving at the secondary sales for the period
- Visit potential distributors (exceptional retailers if need be) to establish long term relationship
- Monitoring pricing (Price to Trade/Retailer) and PTD (Price to distributor)
- Monitoring performance of ASM's, SO's and ESM's for corrective measures
- Taking part in the selection process of Sales Officers, ASM's
- Monitor stock and ensure smooth and timely disbursal of stocks to distributors, retailers, etc.
- Monitoring and following up with ASMs for outstanding payments from distributors
- Supervising regular training sessions/workshops to the field force and arranging monthly meetings
- Preparing monthly reports on primary and secondary sales, distribution, impact of trade promotion/ trade spend
