Regional Sales Manager - FMCG
Position : Regional Sales Manager - FMCG
Reporting to : GM/VP - Sales as well as Director - Sales & Marketing
Experience : MBA in Marketing having 10-15 Yrs of Exp in hard core sales in FMCG.
Location : Based at Kolkata & will be the responsible for West Bengal & North East.
Desired Profile :
- Should have prior experience in effective team handling & people managing skills
- Excellent communication skills required
- Passion for sales and target oriented.
Responsibilities :
- Sales & Distribution Infrastructure: Primary responsibility is to set-up the sales and distribution network.
- Appointment of Sales Team and Territory / Distributors allocation as per company norms in the region.
- Regular working with field sales team members for ensuring their targets achievement, commitment and motivation.
- Ensure Sales forecast & proper logistics.
- New product launch.
- Ensure optimum utilization of POP materials & other promotional items.
- Audit CFA, SS & Distributors from time to time.
- Counseling of sales persons when required.
- Audit of expense - vouchers and budgetary control.
- Monitoring of SO level targets; providing monthly inputs at individual level.
- In case of consistent nonperforming markets / SO: will provide market inputs basis market visit findings and comprehensive report will be submitted to GM/VP - Sales.
- Ensure formulation of strategic and financial business plans covering sales, costs, capital expenditure and manpower resources for sales.
- Ensure processes and communications.
- Develop and implement long term business plans.
- Develop and nurture business relationships with key customers.
- Achieve the annual operating plans nos / Set business plan/targets.
- Monitor and achieve departmental objectives through regular performance and development reviews.
- Participate in regular management meetings, reviewing company performance.
- Review operating processes and modify if necessary.
- Adhere to the company's operating norms.
- Any other assignment given by management from time to time. As per company's requirement.
