Job Opportunity for FMCG Regional Manager role with leading organization for Mumbai location

Responsibilities:
- Overall ownership of the FMCG Retail P&L for the organization
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, and oversee the achievement of brand objectives in the market
- Own annual sales performance as per geography, brand and SKU while looking at the market potential
- Co-create effective 360-degree marketing and promotion plans in sync with the category and marketing teams
- Overall ownership of General/Modern trade marketing: planning, visibility, monitoring and controlling.
- Build a General Trade distribution channel for the brand.
- Establish Distributor network (identification, selection, T.O.T, Onboarding timelines by geography) in phased manner starting with top metros, followed by expansion into Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
- Develop and nurture business partners: CFAs, CSAs, SS and Distributors
- Build process and funnel for manual top-down reach out, on-boarding, activation, and expansion
- Manage existing Modern Trade relationships for the brand, while opening up more Modern Trade format stores
- Prepare the Modern Trade sales strategy & growth plans in line with business strategy
- Maintain and expand customer base by counselling Key Accounts Managers
- Building and maintaining rapport with key customers, identifying new customer opportunities
- Responsible for achieving planned sales by channel
- Negotiate favourable annual trading and logistic contracts with chains
- Lead planning and negotiating for in-store activations, merchandising, sell-out plans with the accounts
- Build a strong team to manage the channel across the country.
- Training & Development of sales team, providing timely feedback through frequent review and meetings
- Define and implement performance parameters for sales team and drive governance processes
- Fixing targets for the team based on zonal targets
- Coordinating with HR for recruitment
- Work closely with the business heads and top management in managing the consistency of the brand and supporting them with initiatives which are in line with the business objective
