Our client is a leading FMCD company based of South India.
This position is Region head - Sales leading a team comprising of AM, ASM and Front line Sales. This role provides direction and leadership to the field Regional Staff while being responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share with the Regional Geography.
People with relevant experience ( 12-15 yrs) in paints, plastics, home fittings, ceramics, carpet and mattress industries may please apply. Full time MBA from reputed institute is preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides quality leadership for internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding company Values at all times: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.
- Achieves the Region's revenue and profitability Target for company products.
- Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth. Sells and teaches others how to sell value added products to the Sales Team.
- Directs the selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
- Hire and Leads AM, ASM and SE, inclusive of managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring and career development.
- Responsible for the Region's forecasting and sales tracking.
- Sets the vision for the Region and develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Disseminate information to regional sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales operations.
- Strong focus on building Sustainable Trade Channels ie Distributors, Dealers, Trade Partners across geography .
- Key Accounts Focus / Management.
- Exposure to Modern Format Stores Sales
- Work closely with Marketing / Brand Management team and ensure Key Marketing Initiatives with respect to Visibility, Brand Promotion and ATL /BTL is driven for the assigned geography.
- Design Innovative Schemes for Trade Channels and assigned geography depending on local dynamics to push Top Line and Bottom Line Sales in Coordination with Marketing / Brand Management Team
- Analyse and Manage Business through effective usage of Sales Report, Assessing Product wise Result and developing specific action plans directly related to business development, growth across product lines and geographies.
- Special projects as assigned.
Responsibility and Decision Making Authority :
- Empowered to make decisions within the Region and on behalf of the Region, and authority to make cross functional decisions in partnership with peers of other functions.
