Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing operations across the designated region for the Cosmetics and Beauty Advisor (BA) Channel. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to meet sales targets, managing a team of sales representatives and beauty advisors, and building strong relationships with channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for cosmetics and BA channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives and beauty advisors.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve individual and regional sales objectives.
Channel Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Ensure effective in-store execution of promotional activities and product displays.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop region-specific campaigns and materials.
Operational Oversight:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards across the region.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Engage with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings and service quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10-20 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the cosmetics or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the beauty advisor model and channel sales dynamics.
