Regional Sales Head Delhi
Position based with a large Consumer Co.
Job Role:
- Regional Sales Manager is responsible to track results in all the following areas: Distributor's, Sales Officer & Area Sales Manager's performance in all sales fundamentals; Analysis on growth potentials and distributor profitability; Analysis of promotional effectiveness; Long and mid-term Sales planning for given geography.
- Align with ASM & National Sales Manager/other departments (Marketing) on overall sales strategy & align the specific distribution strategy to the overall Sales Plan. Provide the necessary customer/area information as a basis for overall Sales planning and strategic decisions. Align with Customer marketing and Customer Development team in order to ensure sales strategies are executed correctly.
- Developing annual plan for zonal sales, resources, expenses and organization to meet corporate growth and competitive objectives
- Development of sales team in respective zone
- Development of strong sales network, distribution channel, stockist network throughout the country to make availability of product
- Overseeing zonal sales activities, providing support to sales teams, as well as directing the teams efforts to be in line with company strategic goals and set targets
- Tracking and monitoring sales and expenses while recommending sales-specific measures and techniques that minimize expenses
- Developing and monitoring the implementation of sales work plans with the aim of achieving the pre-set sales targets while coaching and managing sales teams
