Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven regional sales manager to join our sales team. In this role you will oversee all sales and distribution in your assigned region and work to grow your customer base. Candidate must possess innate leadership qualities, excel in maintaining client and vendor relationships, and have a true passion for sharing the benefits our products offer.
Responsibilities:
- Create a distinct sales process for sales managers and reps to follow
- Establish clear sales objectives for the week, month, year, etc.
- Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
- Hold and direct sales meetings
- Manage and supervise sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals
- Lead, motivate, acknowledge, and inspire your team to perform beyond expectations
- Hold frequent performance reviews with staff to provide constructive feedback
- Celebrate sales achievements and goals met or surpassed
- Continually monitor and track regional sales performance
- Analyze and report on monthly sales outcomes
- Strategically forecast and manage budgetary information
- Be informed on relevant markets and coinciding target audiences
- Attend cross-functional meetings that will benefit the sales department
- Collaborate with local distributors to ensure proper inventory and deliveries
- Possess detailed knowledge of products offered
- Attend trade shows and conventions as needed
