Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- To look after overall business in the assigned region. (Entire West Bengal, Bhutan & Andaman & Nicobar)
- Direct, organise, monitor and control Sales Executives, Sales Trainees to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
- Monitor and control the budget for the Region to ensure that all financial targets are met and are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and strategy to enable effective forward planning
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company's maximum sales potential is realised in the area.
- To be responsible for demand generation activities, promotional campaigns, channel partner meets thereby improving market share through penetration activity, cultivation of new channel partners and network expansion, as well as management and support of existing channels/ network - Primary and Secondary Network.
- Maintain awareness of brand building and company products and of relevant sales techniques and strategies to ensure that the role is carried out as effectively as possible.
- Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position
Reports to : Chief Operations Manager-East
Geography to be covered : West Bengal, Bhutan & Andaman & Nicobar
Education : Engg Graduate + MBA ( Full time)
Experience : 12- 15 years
Industry : Tyres, Lubricants, Paints, After Market, Consumer Durable( only with dealer/ distribution channel exposure and not OEM)
