Regional sales Manager-west
Candidates from Consumer Durable Industry would be more preferable.
Role Responsibilities :
Area of operation- Maharastra, Goa, Gujarat
- Appointment of Distributors for the Region
- Develop a Sales plan for the assigned region. Develop Strategies/initiatives to achieve aggressive growth for the region.
- Evaluate the market need for each product vis a vis the competition and estimate with accuracy the sales plan
- Design and implement sales programs and develop strategies to optimize sales.
- Formulates sales policies, and procedures for the team
- Managing and controlling the sales budget.
- Responsible for overall revenue achievement for the region as per the Sales Plan
- Launch of new products in markets, existing products in new markets
- Identification, Activation of new retail points, distributors
- Assisting distributors to achieve their sales growth.
- Responsible for collections and outstanding for the region.
- Developing trade schemes, discount schemes to augment Sales
- Develop key retail promotional and training events, and trade shows.
- Finalizing margins of the channel in consultation with the NSM
- Initiating marketing initiatives in consultation with marketing and improving the visibility at shelf level/region.
- Travel to sales territories and markets within the region to address needs and requirements. Suggest corrective plans
- Manage issues relating to damaged goods, returned goods etc
- Responsible for stocks and inventories at the distributor level and
- Developing relationships with Distributors. Training /Detailing of Distributors
We are looking at some one with following experiences-
- Skills in selling FMCG products
- Understanding of the channel, distributors and the trade.
- Developing trade incentive schemes and promotional programs
- Sales Planning-short term, long/term
- Negotiation skill
