Core Responsibilities :
This is a leadership sales role. Person will be responsible for B2B sales in a region.
1. Building and managing a team of sales executives and sales support teams and ensuring team performance
2. Achievement of sales targets for the region
a. New business development: Drive acquisition and revenue growth of corporate clients through the sales executives
b. Retention of existing business
i. Drive CXO level engagement and build effective client relationship
ii. Own end to end customer relationship and satisfaction
iii. Grow business from existing clients by cross selling multiple products / logistics solutions through the sales executives
3. Maintain quality of business (yield)
4. Maintaining credit days and on time collections
Education :
- Tier 1 MBA college (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS)
+
- Undergraduate from IIT/ Tier-1 engineering colleges (BITs - Pilani, NSIT, DCE) is an advantage
- Min 70% marks through out
Years of experience : 6 - 8
Professional attributes :
- Prior B2B sales experience (applies to Type 1 background)
- Experience in concept/solution selling / consultative sales
- Experience in new business development
- CXO level engagement
Personal attributes :
- We are looking for go-getters, with high drive and ownership who will be able to bring new clients and manage existing client relationships.
- The person should be able to understand client needs and requirements and design a solutions for them.
- This role requires the candidate to build, lead and mentor his/her team.
- Candidate should demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced, hyper-normal growth environment
- Consulting background e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, AT Kearney, Parthenon, Roland Berger
