ACPL has conducted numerous pilots with the KVAR EC in India which have yielded stellar results. We now wish to aggressively propose this solution to clients, across multiple industries in India, who have a need to reduce their energy consumption. The sales team is being built in phases with the initial launch in South India. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and competent person to drive this initiative to build sales channels in South.
This position provides an opportunity for the candidate to build a business from an early stage and be part of the growth journey. The candidate would eventually become a core member of a growing business in a fast emerging and exciting space. Position: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Bangalore
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales targets for the KVAR EC within South India. You'll play a fundamental role in developing future growth and providing direction and leadership to the sales function. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new business opportunities in target market segments
- Responsible for entire Sales Cycle from lead generation to conversion and execution of the sales and delivery of the product leading to billing and collections.
- Creating a team of self-driven sales people and monitoring their activities / target achievement
- Developing relationships with distributors and referral partners
- Responsible for all Trade Accounts Receivables
- Working with third party agencies to create and/or improve existing brochures, product videos, website and other marketing collaterals.
- Working out optimal pricing strategy for the product
Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Engineering or Masters from a reputed institute is essential
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the B2B or Institutional Sales.
- Excellent communication and people skills with an ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team
- Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, drive and enthusiasm
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Good IT, budgeting and report writing skills
- Fluency in English language (verbal and written) is a must
- This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and requires extensive travel
