Position - Regional Sales Manager - Retail Bakery Key Responsibilities: - P&L Responsibilities (Region): Effectively manage costs and expenses while maximizing revenue generation by monitoring budget allocations, controlling expenditures, and optimizing resource utilization. - Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Sales Generation & Demand Plan Attainment: Proactively identify sales opportunities, pursue leads, and achieve sales targets by effectively promoting and selling company products or services. Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained, balancing the need to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence. - Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's product or service offerings, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value propositions to customers. - Market Research: Conduct market research to gather insights into customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities, utilizing findings to inform sales strategies and enhance product offerings. - Reporting and Analysis: Preparing timely market visit and consumption reports, assisting in evaluation processes, and forecasting sales volume by month, year, and product for the assigned territory. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback, and provide regular reports and analysis to management to track performance and identify areas for improvement. - Supply Chain Management: ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration between sales, inventory management, logistics, and distribution channels to optimize product availability, minimize stockouts, and streamline order fulfillment processes. - Collaboration with Cross-Functional & Business Partners: Marketing Function: Product Promotion and New Products: Actively promote and demonstrate new products or promotions to customers, leveraging marketing materials and sales tools to increase awareness and drive sales. Participate actively to enable the tradeshows and drive maximum leads - opportunities. Finance Function: Operate as integral part of the team to effectively lead P&L, Distributor Management and Sales Productivity. Human Resources: Collaborate to on-board right talent, align & prepare, and develop a capable team. - Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including pricing guidelines, sales protocols, and data confidentiality, to ensure legal and ethical business practices at all times. - Sales Capability Building: Develop and align the organization through effective management and training of the sales team on various aspects of selling competencies. Provide strong leadership with clear direction and motivation to achieve both financial and non-financial expectations. Coach team to strategically plan the day to maximize productivity based on the organization's customer contact plan. Experience & Education:- - Graduates / Master from University preferred, preferably from hospitality background. - Minimum 12- 15 years sales experience (B2B / HORECA / Modern Trade) - Food industry with experience in Bakery Retail stand-alone and chain an advantage. Functional Requirements:- - Understanding of Distribution Channel - Outgoing, Self-Discipline, Independent, collaborate and communicate professionally with different level of people. - Willing to travel. - Fluent in English & Local Communication
