We are hiring Regional Sales Head for a Retail Services Company.

Job Description: Regional Head

Location : Delhi

Objective:

- The Regional head is responsible for the sales performance in the region. He/She assists the National Sales Head in delivering the overall Annual Operating Plan. He/She supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes proactive initiatives to seize every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the Companies’ policies and strategies.

Detailed Responsibilities

Grow Transaction Revenue

- Drive the volume and value of transactions across different services through efficient control over the distributor and retailer network

- Maximize revenue by focusing on driving the mix across different services.

- Drive trade schemes and promotions and Implement Trade marketing initiatives

- Constantly seek/ develop new opportunities to increase and extend the scope of company’s operations

- Strategise and implement customized business development initiatives at identified retail outlets

- Channel of information for the management team on relevant developments in the market and accordingly recommends action to be taken

- Plan and implement infrastructure blueprint for the region

- Develop the Distribution network in the region- distributors and retailers

- Grow active outlet base.

- Plan and is responsible for the manpower resourcing in the region- internal and external

Ensure superior customer service

- Drive key metrics to ensure superior market service (retailers and distributors)

- Resolve problems faced by outlets

- Constantly connect with the market to closely monitor, influence and report on the actions of the distributors/outlets in order to check their alignment with the agreed strategy

Team Management

- Hire the right talent for driving the sales in the region

- Develop and coach the team to take on higher responsibilities; identify training needs and potential

- Lead from the front to motivate the team through regular team meetings and On-the-job trainings

- Set and drive KRAs and Objectives

- Conduct regular reviews with the team and assist the team in strategizing and achieving the targets set for the region

Key competencies/qualifications:

- Graduate/ Post graduate with 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales

- Min. 3 years of experience as State/Regional Head

- Experience in Telecom/FMCG/Financial Services will be a value add

- Exposure to Trade Marketing

- Geographic knowledge will be preferred

Hierarchy

Reports to: Sr.Vice President – Sales,Marketing&Operations.

Reportees: 3-5 Cluster heads
