Regional Sales Head – New Business

Job description
- Develop 1-2 year operating plans for new customer acquisition in alignment with the broader sales function strategy as well as geography-level roadmap
- Drive the geography’s/country’s/region’s new-business sales pipeline process to accurately forecast, qualify, realize and grow the pipeline while balancing product and alliance focus and increasing conversion-rate in the medium-to-long term
- Develop C-level relations with multiple contact-points in business and technology spines at potential customers as well as enhance industry presence through participation/presence in industry fora.
- Enable and deploy processes and a culture which enables and recognizes high-performance, develops and retains talent and promotes cross-functional collaboration
- Scan the requirements, opportunities in the industry/geography to identify visible and latent requirements for customer-clusters – initiate discussions with customers in order to generate leads convertible to active pursuits where Nucleus can partner with customer organizations
- Lead proposal discussion & negotiations with the customers and engage relevant teams and expertise within Nucleus for providing clarifications to the customers –balancing the role of customer advocacy with business acumen to enhance not only revenue but proposed margin %age
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must have at least 15+ years of sales leadership experience
- Must possess management and functional qualification from Tier 1 business and technology schools only
- Thought leadership, analytical capabilities and networking form a strong requirement for the role to be played effectively.
- Must have a strong track record of being able to lead and deliver business results to the top and bottom line of a business, be able to influence without direct authority
- Must be influential, able to quickly establish presence at executive levels, to develop a sound and compelling vision and be results driven with a hands-on style.
- Required to function effectively within Nucleus; in a strong value driven work ethos, highly collaborative working style, excellent management skills, and the ability to negotiate and influence the outcome of a business results
