- 12 - 15 years proven service related Government sales with Account management experience.
- At least 4-5 years experience of managing Sales / Account managers.
- Established network with leaders of top four IT consultant companies such as PwC, GT, E&Y and KPMG.
- Should have experience in tracking Government budget allocations and requirement inclusions for business development.
- Strong communication and relationship building capabilities.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Setting the sales & operational strategy for North India Government Sales.
- Should be able to handle State Govt, PSU and other Government departments business across North India (Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Utter Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh)
- Coordination with top officials on IT projects; build & establish Organization's credentials in this vertical by working with consultants & Strategic Partners (System Integrators)
- Technical and Commercial risks assessments of the RFPs / RFIs to be bid with a clear strategy definition and get it approved from the management.
- Play a crucial role of solution specialist with government customers and partners to push Quixy as suitable platform for their IT requirements.
- Defining goals, establishing metrics, measuring attainment of those goals and encourage / enforce their compliance.
- Territory planning to drive focused account mapping on both retention and new business.
- Recruiting, motivating and leading a team of 3 - 4 Sales / Account managers.
- Coaching and mentoring team to maximize on the sales outcome.
Job Location: New Delhi
Reporting to: VP - Sales
- 12-15 years in Government and Public Sector sales, with Account management experience.
- At least 4-5 years- experience of managing Sales / Account managers.
- Strong network with the Big 4 Consultants, Systems Integrators and with North Indian State Governments and PSUs
- Proven record of tracking Government and PSU budget allocations and their scope, to scout for business
- Ability to solution AND sell
- Background of selling OEM or Systems Integration solutions - strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building capabilities.
- Sales target achievement of INR 40 to 50 crores, for the past few years - highly preferable
- Ability and willingness to travel on business, for about 40% to 50% of the time
- Demonstrable record of outbound sales - strongly preferred
- History of having been an IC salesperson for long and managing a sales team in the recent 3-4 years - highly preferred
