This is a critical Sales leadership role, reporting to the Head-Sales, to achieve best-in-class execution of NPD launches, distribution & and high-quality visibility
Key Responsibilities
- Frontline Sales Capability Enhancement
- Manage the frontline sales teams, distributors and grow sales in new, multi category environments by working closely with Branch Sales leadership teams
- Be well aware of the workings of SFA.
- NPD Launches and GTM plan execution
- Work closely with the HO
- Trade Marketing and well aware of Merchandising standards, POSM utilization, distribution drives.
- Pipeline Management
- Keep a close watch on the stock pipeline at the retailer, distributor, depot level to ensure optimal product freshness, while managing distributor investment and minimize OOS situations.
- Ground Zero Feedback
- Deep connect with the frontline sales team and retail markets to identify progress of a product.
- Identify vulnerable areas and course correct with Branch teams and discussion/alignment with HO-Sales.
- Cost & Budget management
- Develop and utilise tracking system to critically assess performance and refine resource utilization within the allocated budgetary framework
Functional Skills:
- Understanding of FMCG categories
- Expert in Sales Management and team handling of at least State level business area.
- Demonstrated excellence in planning & launch of new products leading to achievement of distribution & visibility objectives
- Experience in training & development of Frontline and Sales Managers and comfortable in people situations.

Our Candidate :
- MBA/PGDBM with at least 8-10 years of hard core FMCG Sales & distribution experience having led sizeable.
- Demonstrated record of influencing, guiding, developing and training teams.
- 3-4 years in a Sales Development/Training leadership role in a large State or Regional capacity, will be an added advantage.
