Regional Retail Planner with leading Retail brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Budgeting :
- Check and confirm the department wise & store wise sales budget given by the central planning team for the season
- Check and confirm the buy value as per the department wise & store wise sales budget
- Check actual versus sales budget achievement as per defined timelines and highlight concerns accordingly
- Recommend and take necessary actions for deficit in budget achievements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Product/Stock Management :
- Validate the Open To Buy (OTB) and stock gap for the season
- Roll out the initial allocation received from the central planning team to the store operations team and
RDC for necessary action :
- Track and monitor dispatches as per initial allocation
- Manage timely replenishment and execution of orders by the RDC
- Maintain stock cover as per defined norms across all categories in the stores across the region
Season Launch Allocation :
- Manage availability of stock at the stores as per initial allocation to achieve the store's seasonal target
- Partner with the operations team for implementation of the planogram
- Manage replenishments for stores based on stock performance and availability
Mid Season Monitoring :
- Manage basics allocation to respective stores as per the monthly rolling budget
- Highlight the requirements of the non-basics to the central planning team
- Consolidate FMS and SMS (fast moving and slow moving styles)across the stores in the region
- Provide FMS and SMS analysis to the central planning team to take appropriate actions (discounting,promoting etc)
- Review and ensure that the above actions are implemented at the stores
- Prepare best-buy analysis for old season options and implement the recommended actions
- Undertake market and store visits for customer response, competition mapping and product gap analysis to provide feedback to the central planning team
- Conduct reviews with the operations team and merchandize control team as per defined timelines to track stock status in stores and prepare projections
- Review the broken and healthy stock options with central planning and buying team
- Track the auto replenishment system for non-basics on a weekly basis
End of Season Consolidation :
- Prepare stock consolidation at the end of season
- Check, validate and implement the EOSS discount working
- Provide product SWOT analysis for the season as feedback to the central planning team
- Provide in-depth product related feedback
- Provide competition product analysis People Management
- Select the right team members
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
