Experience - 9-12 yrs in reputed Food Industry/Retail/MNC

Qualification : Food Technologist/Post graduate in Chemistry/ Food Science and technology Btech / MSC

Salary :- 15 lakhs to 18 lakhs

JOB PURPOSE:

- To ensure compliance to laid down standards and procedures set by Corporate QA. Lead the SSC QA team for operational Quality initiative implementation at site.

- Should have a thorough knowledge of Food processing unit field experience preferably of MNC FMCG

- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability & Excellent project management skills.

- Microsoft PPT/Trend Analysis /Kaizen project implementation

- Responsible for maintaining all aspect of site Quality Management. Supervising all regulatory compliance activities and helping to enforce quality assurance policies and best practice principals covering the safety, design, production, and inspection.

The position will review routine site quality metrics, conduct audits and drive accountability by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities thereby resulting in Quality processes performance improvements at Commissary, CML & Suppliers end.

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality and compliance targets.

- Fully conversant with all kind of Food Safety & Quality Management System viz.: ISO, FSSC, BRC, HACCP, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.

- Monitoring and auditing of products to ensure high standards of quality.

- Ensuring products comply with legislation and quality assurance codes.

- Ensuring that all QA Tests are carried out on time and in full.

- Provide weekly and monthly reports to senior managers on performance.

- Identify training needs and recommendations to improve customer experience.

- Keeping quality documentation up to date. Making sure that all QA records, data & information is available to managers.

- Arranging the repair of any QA / related equipment that is malfunctioning. Ensuring non-conforming products are identified and placed on restriction.

- Responsible for the review and update of the program quality plans.

- Awareness of regulatory requirement and customer service expectations.

- Ensuring activities in the quality plan are carried out. Coordinating the investigation of customer complaints.

- Preparing and analyzing information for the purpose of Management Review. Giving specialist quality assurance advice to the company departments as required

- All the cross functional team : SCM/Ops/Maintenance/Training/HR etc

- Vendor (All Food & Non Food), Pest Agency,Certification Agency etc.

Functional :

- Technical sound knowledge of products & processes & test methods

- Food Safety /GMP/ GHP Requirements

- Statistical Process Control/Six Sigma technique/Kaizen/5S
