Overview:
The Regional Operational Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operational activities within the region to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
This role requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and execution of operational strategies to meet the regional objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and refine operational processes to enhance productivity and quality.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operational staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members meet performance standards.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional operational goals.
- Coordinate with other departments to align operational activities with company objectives.
- Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Quality Control:
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes and standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with senior management and other departments.
- Prepare and present operational reports and updates.
Problem-Solving:
- Address and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely manner.
- Make informed decisions to support operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Multitasking:
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while working under pressure.
Packaging Industry Experience (optional but preferred):
- Leverage experience in the packaging industry to address specific operational requirements and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management, supply chain, and logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and improvement methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
