This position seeks an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team. This role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers/clients and nurture them through our purchase flow from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for generating leads & achieving the set sales targets in the defined region / segment / sector for sales of Distribution and Power Transformers.
- Revenue generation and branding the company's image for further requirement.
- Achieve all key business goals, objectives and set KPI.
- This role includes but not limited to the development of the department and the company at large.
- Understanding the customer requirement/specifications and matching to the company's standards and offer competitive price.
- Responsible for getting the Customer/Consultant drawing approvals and getting the PO, prepare the Order Review Sheet and supporting documents for initiating design & production process
- Payment follow up with Customer for ABG, PBG or against proforma Invoice & ensure to follow the credit norms judiciously and focus on timely collection to meet the target (stick to payment terms).
- Coordinate with the customers & the internal dispatch team to ensure quality, specification and time-lines are met as per the customer requirement.
- Regularly interact with existing customers to know the future requirement or proposals.
- Regular Market scanning and competitor mapping for gathering market intelligence data.
- Focus to develop brand awareness, identification of new sites and sources of requirement.
- Building new lead generation in the defined region / segment / sector / market / etc. as per the targets and business development with client strategies.
- Prepare & Review MIS reports along with Weekly & Monthly Reports of the sales and work-in-progress.
- Based on the yearly budget sales target is set to each individual, and the same is reviewed on weekly basis. This review is on enquires, order-booking, sale, collection, & developing new customers/clients.
Accountabilities:
- Achieving sales target as defined within the set time frame.
- To build and support strong client relationships and networks with continuous improvement in different market segments.
- Acquisition of new customers, client & business units and retaining the existing.
- To analyze and make recommendations, provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
- Sales, order booking and collection as per AOP.
