Description
Scope
- The Head of Technology Training, based in Mumbai (and business travel to Bangalore) will provide thought leadership, collaborate globally and scale up the technical training competency, as described below
- The successful candidate will functionally report into the Global Head of Technology Training in New York, and the head of the India office; the current Mumbai based team will report into the India Lead.
Deliverables:
- Ownership of Technical Training in Technology & Data India
Campus Program: Technology Analyst Program
- Implement and manage the campus hiring program, in alignment with global standards
- Industrialise the onboarding programs to accelerate New Hire productivity
- Review new hire orientation, MS proprietary training and delivery methods including:
- Junior Lateral Program - Accelerated onboarding programs for junior hires
- Senior Lateral Interventions
Provide oversight of vendor evaluation
- Jointly oversee Management Development (Snr Mgr/VP) interventions (e.g. LEAP and PRIDE) with HR and Talent Management
- Provide strategic direction of T&D Campus Recruiting Strategy with HR Campus recruiting teams
The ideal candidate will satisfy one or more the following:
- aware of the typical technology stack prevalent in Investment Banking and Industry leading Technical Training delivery methods, such as MOOCs
- have experience of, and be comfortable in working in a multicultural environment, having lived or worked abroad
- have experience of driving campus recruitment and university engagement initiatives
Skills Required:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably gained from a Technology field and/or financial services industry
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with evidence of successful interaction with senior management stakeholders
- Strong analytic focus, willing to drive and create meaningful metrics for the various programs
- Willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals; strong commitment to high quality standards
- Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multi-task, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives
- Proven ability to influence and challenge status-quo, improve processes and drive results.
