Regional Sales Manager - Retail Sales


The position is with a Leader in its business.

Purpose of the job : Implement and monitor strategies to achieve targeted sales, TP and increase share from Company Showrooms on sustainable basis by doing various promotional activities thus increasing footfalls and maximising conversions, implementing policies, schemes & introducing products to meet customer expectations.

Key Accountability :

- ADHERENCE OF POLICIES AND AVAILABILITY OF POP MATERIAL.

- Key Activities.

- Ensure all Showroom adhere to legal, operational and safety requirements.

- Coordinate with Marketing for collaterals, branding and other point of sales material availability at Company World/ Galleries.

KPI:

- Delay in arranging branding / POP / collaterals , etc.

- Identify product display and branding related deviations.

Key Activities :

- Implement visual merchandising strategies / guidelines for Company World / Galleries and monitor them regularly. Non-compliance by Showroom to Brand display guidelines.

- Implement Product & Brand display guidelines across assigned Company World/ Galleries. Feedback on Visual display, branding and merchandising from senior management team.

- Increase Brand visibility at Company World/ Galleries.

- Ensure proper In-shop branding, Signage, Festival Gate/ etc. at Showrooms.

- Increase Visual Display of entire range at Company World/ Galleries.

- KPI

- Non-compliance by Showroom to Brand display guidelines.

- Feedback on Visual display, branding and merchandising from senior management team.

- PROFITABLE GROWTH

Key Activities :

- Monitor performance of assigned Showrooms to achieve RCV and TP targets and prepare analyse and submit MIS RCV.

- Prepare activity chart as per budget assigned for Showrooms. TP Implement plans to promote high TP products.

- Non-compliance to showroom policy.

- Educate Showrooms / Brand Executive to sell high TP products. No. of customer footfall per month Implementation of showroom policy at Showrooms. Percentage conversion of customers per month.

- Execute sales promotion programs as per showroom activity calendar. Increase in per customer sales Facilitate Showrooms to achieve their sales target, and growth in high end sales. No. of Sales Program executed per month as per the plan.

- Initiate activities to Increase customer foot falls and convert them into Sales.

- Increase per customer billing.

- Monitor and analysis competitor's product, sales & marketing activities.

- RCV

- TP

- Non-compliance to showroom policy.

- No. of customer footfall per month.

- Percentage conversion of customers per month.

- Increase in per customer sales.

- No. of Sales Program executed per month as per the plan.

- Accountability.

- SHOWROOM CONCERNS.

- Ensure timely redressal of Showroom concerns.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT :

Key Activities :


- Recruit, train, manage & motivate brand executives across the region.

- Ensure Brand Executives have in-depth Product Knowledge in order to provide right product to the customer.

- Monitor conduct of Brand Executives through store audits and ensure CAPA.

- Coordinate with Internal Channel Training Department to carry out training programs for Brand Executives and Showroom Staff.

- Develop successor for Business Continuity.

- Feedback on product knowledge and conduct of brand executives from senior management team.

- No. of training conducted

Key Decisions :

- Decision on implementing Visual display and branding guidelines for Showrooms.

- Decision on implementing plan to increase customer footfalls, conversions and per customer billing.


- Decision on Implementing plan to increase RCV & TP from Showrooms.

- Working Relation.

- Establish effective relationship with Channel Sales team to ensure smooth flow of information enabling Sales growth.

- Work closely with marketing department for advertising / branding / publicity support at Zonal level. Close relation with Commercial to ensure that all financial claims are settled within time.

- Establish effective relationships with all Service departments.

- Close relationship with Channel Partners, Showrooms owners and Sales Team to understand the market needs and challenges.

- Close relation with subordinates to ensure harmonious working conditions.

Experience & Qualification : An MBA from a known college and min 3 years in sales environment ideally in a Retail Showrooms or Channel Sales.
