Regional Manager - Sales - International Business (With a German MNC)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required :

- French and exposure with African Countries is mandatory for this position

- Minimum B.Com, MBA Proffered.

- At least 10 years of Building Material/ Furniture Sales / Export Sales experience

- Knowledge of African Countries & especially of West part of especially French speaking ( i.e.Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea&C- te d'Ivoire)

- Knowledge of appointing new distributor / Channel partners

KPI's :

- Sales and profit delivery.

- Adherence to follow company rules

- Develop the geography through new customer and Distributors.

- Holding team accountable for sales and profit delivery through frequent sales review meetings.

- Maintain strong network base of Architects / Builders / contractors & OEM

Key Responsibilities :

- Able to build strong distributor network from the scratch.

- Manage multiple direct reports to deliver the prescribed sales deliverables.

- Own key customer relationships that support the delivery of the growth and profit objectives.

- Build a Sales Out plan with the customer that utilizes all the customers- infrastructure, i.e. Sales Reps, Distribution Capability, Telesales, etc.

- Train and develop direct reports to improve their sales skills.

- Consistent achievement of targets in terms of Coverage, Sales, Numeric Distribution

- Effective administration through on time reporting and completion of all administration objectives.

- Effective teamwork and self-management through personal quality and productivity standards being met.

Competencies :

- Self-Motivated Can work independently (French speaking is mandate)

- Leadership skills to manage a Sales and Distributors team across West Africa.

- Personality Traits Required: Strong drive, mindset of continuous improvement, results orientated, holding people accountable.

- Skilled in sales and profit management with a sound understanding of financial metrics.

- Strong communication skills to influence both internally and externally.
