Key Elements of the role

Partner Management

- Lead Company's outreach efforts by crafting the strategy, identification, recruitment, and development of new partners for Company products

- Develop a deep and a long-standing relationship with the partners - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical

- Work extensively with partners to understand their business needs

- Develop and implement sales strategies with partners in order to maximize revenue and meet sales goals

- Collaborate with functions across Company for business development planning - Actuary, Product, Engineering, Claims, Marketing and Finance & Compliance teams to design and launch new products

- Own cost improvement and overall portfolio management

- Create repeatable and scalable business models to accelerate unit contributions of new channels

Business Strategy and Market Understanding

- Know the customer: Deeply understand customer behavior, develop new customer insights

- Know the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc.

- Know the competition: Understand on-line and off-line players. Ensure our products and services with partners stay well ahead of the competition

- Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required

- Develop and implement industry best practices. Move the industry with you!

Key Requirements:

- Graduation or Post -Graduation from Tier A college

- 3+ years of experience in Business Development/Account Management

- Customer first approach - strong customer orientation

- Program management skills, relationship management, interpersonal communication - ability to work with cross-functional teams with an eye for detail

- Strength in engaging with executive-level customers, key Company executives, and other decision makers with credibility

- Strong Negotiation skills- extensive experience negotiating with partners at a senior level and ability to influence leaders across partner organization

- Analytical Agility - utilize business intelligence to help drive better performance across critical metrics for the team

- Savvy solution skills to successfully navigate through ambiguity

- Basic proficiency in MS applications e.g. Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point

- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

- You are nimble in a fast paced and dynamic high technology environment
