Experience: 8-10 years
Summary:
Achieve outstanding product with defined quality and within set timelines
Quality Assurance:
- Plan for routine quality audit requirements
- Create product and processes quality manual / vendor handbook
- Prioritize, allocate audits to the QA executives and ensure execution of the same
- Control / reduce the rejection %age rate and shipment re-screening %age
- Provide timely alerts to the QA Head in terms of deviation
- Preempt issues with relation to manpower/production
Vendor Relationships:
- Track for sample, inspect the sample and take approvals for bulk production
- Undertake regular vendor visits to address issues relating to shipment, product issues, delivery issues and production status
- Review and compile vendor cards from the various locations of the region
- Ensure adherence to quality inspection TATs
- Ensure adherence of the individual QAs to their budgets
- Undertake vendor performance evaluation on a monthly basis
- Take commercial calls on need basis with approval from Head - Quality
- Review product quality and monitor closely the samples in case of rejects
- New Vendor evaluation
Customer Complaints:
- Study and understand complaints received from Internal (lab, merchandisers) & external customers (retail)
- Analyse the problem and escalate the issues to the QA Head for further action
- Plug in the loopholes in the process
People Management:
- Groom the lab team to take on the daily testing activities and meet performance expectations
- Groom the QA executives to perform the quality activities and meet performance expectations
