Regional Manager - Pay - eCommerce

Job Purpose :
- As a Regional Manager Offline Scan & Pay, you will have the exciting opportunity of scaling its eCommerce platform's presence in the offline payment acceptance domain.
- The role would require managing large in-house and off-rolls team to make its payment gateway ubiquitous and commensurate with cash. The incumbent would also be required to partner with the marketing team in designing a plan to drive acquisitions and usage of the payment instrument in the offline market.
- Ideal candidate will have 5+ year of sales experience with minimum 3 years of experience in managing large teams preferably in payment companies, telecom or FMCG. Candidate should be able to own the P&L for the region and takes decision regarding areas to invest and partners to work with independently.
- He/ She should possess an understanding of the local market and industry and should be able to define critical markets in the city/region and ensure high merchant density in those areas. He/ She should be comfortable interacting with and presenting ideas to internal leadership teams.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Understand the goals for offline Scan and convert it into a robust execution plan with city-specific actions for his region
- Manage merchant acquisition and retention goals for his region by root causing reasons for low conversion/attrition and addressing them through a structured process
- Create city level execution plans and implementing them in partnership with the city head. Define channel and partner mix for his region depending on the strength of the agency and their performance
- Take additional quality goals apart from acquisition like compliance, driving merchant density in critical markets, maintaining active merchant rate, defining incentive programs for FOS, and reducing the variable cost of acquisition QoQ
- Identify marketing support required to scale acquisitions and drive GMV. Partner with eCommerce platform's teams to get the same executed
- Represent his region in firm's WBR. Appear in monthly reviews and represent his region with leadership
- Manage relationship with key stakeholders like leadership, Manpower agency regional leadership, Offline product and marketing teams
