About Our Client

Our client is multi Million Euro German Company dealing with HVAC industry (consultants, Architects and Builders). In India they are on aggressive growth path with over 30% y-o-y growth. They are looking for person to head the P&L of Northern India based out of Gurgaon

Job Description

You will be reporting into business head for South Asia and will be responsible for

- Business development & getting products specified with Consultants/Specifiers & customers and manage key accounts in all the segments (Construction HVAC, Pharma, Process & Heavy Industries)

- Achieving Net Sales targets & operating Margins target set for the area for all the Segments

- Sales of products to potential clients (Projects), Contractors through Channel Partners

- To manage and motivate network of distributors across the area to ensure effective coverage, distribution and visibility in the territory.

- Monitoring/expanding the dealer/distributor network with a special eye on achieving revenue/collection targets

- Manage price developments & deductions like Customer Bonuses, Commission & Customer Freight

- Responsible for timely collection of payments and ensures that receivables are within specified targets

- Responsible for Costs associated in the region (People Cost, Marketing Cost, Bad Debts etc)

- Monitoring of competitor's activities

- To generate Monthly, Quarterly & yearly forecast of sales and continuously monitor and release regular reports to various key people in the company

- Support Product Launch, Product planning & Sales Promotional activities

- To ensure that customer problems are resolved in effective & timely manner

- To train and develop customer, dealers and distributors on application and technology of the products.

- Recruitment, Training of employees; planning, assigning & directing their work; appraising performance; facilitate employee engagement activities; addressing complaints & resolve conflicts for building a positive team spirit & improve morale / motivation

The Successful Applicant

- You should have a B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical with good experience of working with channel management. You should have good contacts with consultants/specifiers in the HVAC industry and excellent experience of selling commercial/industrial projects to projects through channel partners.

- You should have strong networking and team building skills and should come across as strong negotiator with the ability to close deals. You should have knowledge of decision making process in the Building Material & HVAC industry in North Region and Technical knowledge relating to HVAC, Insulation or Heat, Transfer.
