About our Client - Our client is a world leading Commodities Inspection and Trade Finance support services business with operations across the globe. With a fast growing Asian presence, the firm has retained the services of Michael Page International to assist them in strengthening their team in Mumbai at the Senior Management level. Our client has an opportunity for a Regional Manager South & East Asia with a core expertise in Minerals.
Job Description - Reporting directly to the Vice President Asia, you will be involved in growing the Minerals business in India and across Asia. You will be responsible for leading business development activities; customer acquisition, relationship management and business growth in the area. You will also participate in strategy development and implementation across the region. In addition you will contribute in the setting of operational procedures and standards of services. Your role will also encompass a full P&L responsibility as well as a critical management and leadership role in the Indian Office and across the region.
The Successful Candidate - The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, minimum of 10 years of sound professional experience, in key managerial domains with financial accountability, preferably in the inspection industry. You must have a strong expertise and network in the business of minerals. The role is based out of Mumbai. To be successful in this leadership position you also need to meet the following criteria i.e. Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, International trade or equivalent completed with an MBA, strong commercial awareness, effective communication and negotiation skills, ability to translate the Group's strategy into action.
