We are currently looking for a Regional Manager-Industrial Sales for one of the topmost Industrial Products and Consumables MNCs in the world. The position is to be based at Delhi.

Job Responsibility :

- Sales and relationship management with key account customers & distributors in defined geographical region through a team of Key Accounts Managers & Distributor Managers.

- Accountable for driving growth measured through Sales Volume and Gross Margin delivery.

Regional Sales Management :

- Guiding the team in - value based- sales process for achieving targets & delivering growth including targets for new businesses, focused products / segments, market share, service revenue etc.

- Managing customer relationship matrix at top level, customer contracts & third-party agreements. Ensuring financial discipline and credit / expense management.

Team Handling :

- Resource recruitment / deployment, motivation, performance evaluation, interpersonal relationship management and induction training of new recruits. Capability development of team & channel partners, taking feedback / reports etc.

- Key Account Management & Business Development : Mentoring the team in identifying market / customer potential, preparing techno-commercial offers, negotiations, technical discussions & after-sales service.

- Tracking new projects / large accounts in the region, managing - Sales Pipeline-, Vulnerabilities / Opportunities & Assumptions. Participation in government tenders and handling contracts based on - complete ownership of overall products / services cost- model.

- Channel Management : Managing channel interactions for growth & business quality improvement. Motivating channel partners, ensuring their ROI, supporting their business initiatives, implementing special schemes, ensuring adherence to - ways of working- and timely claim settlement.

- Developing new channel partners for market penetration & network expansion.

OEM After-Market Business :

- Delivering growth through Involvement, special schemes / promotional activities / incentive programs & trainings for OEM dealership staff & end-customers. Ensuring delivery on various performance parameters in line with the OEMs Agreements.

- Planning, Strategic Decisions & Management Feedback - Sales budgeting & business planning process participation as per growth projections & assumptions.

- Sales forecasting / stock planning. Forecasting the market trends, studying the market for competition & providing feedback to top-management for deciding better marketing- mix & improving Operations on a continuous basis.

Product Management & Technical Services :

- Implementing product strategy / new launches, deciding customer-product pricing & accurate product positioning. Supporting marketing initiatives like seminars, technical meets, exhibitions, market activation plans & digital marketing initiatives.

- Handling product trials / demonstration / condition-monitoring, trouble-shooting, preparing - value based performance reports- and securing customer / OEM approvals. Developing compelling offers on - Value Based Propositions- through - Total Cost of Ownership- model.

Experience & Expertise :

Education : BE/ BTech is mandatory, preferably with MBA from a premier Institute.

Essential Experience and Expertise : Experience of minimum 8-10 years in Industrial sales, with a minimum 4 to 5 years as Sales Manager, managing a team of on roll executives. Prior experience of managing distributors will be a plus, with experience in :

- Industrial Sales

- Industrial Distributor Management

The job involves around 10-15 days of travel outside base location.

Job Location : New Delhi

Salary : Best among the industry (Could Range around Rs.30 Lpa)
