A very large player in the consumer products industry, the company has dominant presence and the largest market share in the category of consumer products that they operate in. Listed on the stock exchange and having international presence in other continents, the company has the most iconic brands in its category and have a large and well established dealer network with exclusive and multi brand outlets. The industry and consequently the company is experiencing high CAGR / growth rates and is looking to hire superior quality of talent to drive this rapid growth.


To strengthen its sales function in East India, the company is looking to hire critical talent of sales professionals with strong educational credential (a top level B. School) and relevant experience in channel sales in a company with well established processes and contemporary practices.


Role Purpose :


Drive Sales in the area/geography to Implement and monitor strategies to achieve targeted sales, TP and increase share from EBO and MBO Showrooms on sustainable basis including driving promotional activities for increasing footfalls and maximising conversions, implementing policies, schemes & introducing products to meet customer expectations.


KPIs:


- Drive assigned and very large number Channel partners (Distributor) and drive EBO, MBOs & Retail Outlets to achieve targets while managing schemes and discounts .


- Manage profitable growth within specified budget for the area/territory and drive activities to

Increase customer foot falls while to promote high margin products by managing all brand promotions at outlets and convert them into Sales.


- Monitor competitor activities and coordinate with cluster team to report and improve processes in the Sales and promotion areas.


- Supervise and train own and dealer teams to deliver sales targets.


Requirement :


- An MBA from a premier B.School with 3 to 6 years of post MBA experience.


- The person must have strong channel sales experience managing distributors or dealers in a consumer products industry.
