Regional Logistics Manager

Years of experience - 7 - 12 yrs

Role

Supply Chain Management: 

- Implementation of systems within the logistics function in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs to smoothen distribution planning

- To ensure optimal stock availability in the region and management of working capital. Manage inward/ outward logistics and optimize distribution costs.

Responsibilities

Distribution Planning -

- Managing the stocks in mother warehouse

- Using the most cost effective way of delivery of shipmen

- Co-coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems

- Analyse data to monitor performance and plan improvements

Procurement

- Arrange timely receipt of the material

- Transporter Management

- Negotiate Terms & Conditions with Transporters 

- Monitor SLAs with transporter through monthly review 

- Suggest measure to reduce secondary freight

Order Management

- Ensure all received orders are booked and billed as per the agreed norms

- Monitor POD compliance

- Adherence to processes as applicable

- Furnish billing details to the sales team

- Plan stock movement to achieve optimal space utilization at the store. Also, to maintain target inventory level based on the lead time

Depot /Warehouse Management

- Forecast warehouse costs

- Maintain material stock without any or minimal variance by undertaking stock verification, documentation and monitoring the inventory

- Inventory Accuracy Audit 

 

Competency / Skills

 - Good knowledge of SAP, taxation, Planning and organising, Decision Making, Communication Skills, Leadership Skills, High on service orientation, superior transaction management 

Educational Qualification - B. Com/ B.Com+P.G.D.B.A. (Supply Chain Management)

Span of Control To be defined by Business Head of B2C
