- To handle the litigations and the associated actions pertaining thereto.
- To handle date to date cases arising out of various disputes, collection activity in their respective regions.
- To handle arbitration matters and its proceedings and to represent the company before various forums and also the Police Department if required.
- To coordinate with law firms, advocates and counsels with respect to the litigation for and against the company.
- To maintain all records / files of cases filed by & against the company.
- To prepare periodic MIS of outstanding litigations & coordinate for their follow-up & closure and to review the same from time to time.
- To keep a track record of payments made to the law firms/counsels/advocates, negotiate with the Lawyers for better fee and service.
- To set into motion the processes associated with legal cases and liaise with external counsels/law firms for the same.
- To formulate pleadings of law suits, arbitration claims, counterclaims, evidence and arguments.
- To implement legal processes across the company.
- To undertake initiatives in knowledge and skill enhancement for self and the team.
- To carry out Legal Training Sessions for back office, mid office and front office.
