Position: Regional Business Manager (Regional leadership role)
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 15 - 20 Years of relevant experience in the Sales function along with People Management experience. Experience in Electrical industry would be an added advantage.
Qualification :Engineering / Business School Graduate
Note: Candidate Current Portfolio should NOT BE LESS THAT 350Cr.
- To drive sales & profitability through an engaged and highly motivated sales work force
- To lead the Regional Sales team to increase the company's footprint and identify growth opportunities in defined market.
Key Individual accountabilities
Provide strategic guidance to region
- Create the Regional Strategy plan for sales and market share growth and profitability
- Provide inputs in national sales strategy and be directly involved in implementing key strategic initiatives for all accounts
- Represent company to all external parties for the specific Region
- Define and drive sales and profitability targets for the region
- Drive and own revenue, collection and profitability responsibility for the entire company portfolio for the region
- Support in the development of sales and profitability targets for products for the allocated region in agreement with business unit heads
- Monitor pricing strategy/ discounts for region within delegated authority and ensure adherence to pricing strategy/ discounts in the region
- Drive & manage direct sales through distributors& Channels
- Drive Value Proposition for entire company thru Prescription
- Identify levers to improve commercial effectiveness for the allocated region
- Engage with existing accounts in the allocated region continuously to discover opportunities to grow revenue and expand share of wallet
- Identify and add uncovered accounts
- Support the NSH in identifying levers to improve direct sales through channel partners
- Identify and implement levers for reducing cost of sales in the Region
- Allocation of Regional budgets towards promotional activities and customer engagement
Develop people capabilities
- Build & develop strong future leaders in the regions
- Create a highly engaged & multi skilled regional team to drive the regional sales strategy
