Regional IT Leader/Senior IT Business Partner - APAC Region
Reporting : Global Head of Digital and Information Technologies based out US
- The APAC IT Business Partner is a key leadership role for the region. As part of the management team of APAC business, the primary mission of the position is to (1) drive APAC business objectives with information technology, digital, data, analytics, strategy, solutions and services, (2) provoke strategic directions through internal/external perspective and (3) seek partnerships with the business to co-create the future and manage value opportunities for IT solutions and services.
Specific Knowledge and Skills :
- Successful track record working with business and IT peers in a highly proactive manner. Experience in a matrix organization and influencing stakeholders. Work in a true partnership co-creating and in consultative mode
- Must come from a background with heavy exposure in deploying/driving digital capabilities, websites, portals, B2B interactions
- Commercial implementations or environments with Sales capabilities, salesforce, revenue and profit maximization
- Strength, in relationship building and partnering - embodies true partnership of co-creating and defining the future along with business and IT teams
- Must be comfortable with fast pace, making the abstract tangible and results oriented
- Bachelor's degree in computer science; MBA preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the partner and trusted advisor to market leadership to drive the deployment and realization of the functional and business objectives.
- In partnership with regional GM's and Technology leadership, define strategy, roadmap for technology, information, data and digital technologies
- Focus on Digital transformation, and drive revenue management deployment and capabilities
- Suggest operating model improvements, and process improvements. The business partner plays an active leadership role in enabling IT to be a high performing, agile, focused team.
- Serve in a critical role within the broader IT team and as an influential player in the IT Team
- Continuously scans the internal and external environment for best practices, pre-built templates, processes and technologies to meet the regional and global needs
- Determines and documents the impact of change, challenges assumptions and comes out with revised roadmaps and execution plans
- Work with project management and business stakeholders to negotiate project plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring all stakeholder expectations are in sync
