Description
- Regional IT Strategy Development: Partner with Region Presidents and other senior region leaders to deeply understand strategic and tactical business objectives
- Work with IT Leadership to create and implement Regional business strategies that leverage and integrate IT strategy of architecture, infrastructure, and applications of existing and new technology to achieve business objectives
- Work with region representatives to understand current and desired future state operating models and business capability roadmaps
- Participate in the development of financial models indicating the investment required and estimated benefits
- Work with the Regions to define business value associated with desired IT projects. Define quantifiable and qualitative measurements of success
- Support new commercial activities that leverage IT services to our customers
- Authors Project Charters for proposed projects
- Enable agility and speed to Go-To-Market by providing for region-specific needs
- Appropriately leverage common IT Platforms to provide regional market driven Front Office requirements
- Balance Front Office architecture goals of common process and region-specific needs; Participate in the evaluation of Region-specific needs given the goals of other Regions' and corporate
- Partner with designated Front Office operational process owners to establish the Front Office operational design and evaluate the balance between cross-regional operational consistency goals and region-specific objectives
- Participate in creating the Annual Operating Plan for the Region IT
- Understand and explain actual IT costs in the Region's P&L including oversight of those costs directly charged, assigned and/or allocated
- Lead execution of IT Business Governance Structure for the region
Profile
- Bachelor in an IT related discipline would be preferred
- The ideal candidate comes with 10+ years of relevant experience and needs to be an IT Generalist by background and have management skills
- Ability to manage the Regional IT staff (India, Singapore, Japan) including Infrastructure and desktop support personnel as well as Applications solution architect personnel
- Ability to manage work performed by various infrastructure and applications outsourcers for work in the Region
- Ability to build relationships with senior global leadership to perform the strategic planning activities
- Coordinate IT related activities throughout the APAC Region
- Able to work with a central IT organisation that provides standards, direction and broader support
- Openness to travel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written & oral
