- Works as a Business Partner with the BU leadership team and ensures active participation in the human resources decisions and strategy of the BU. Supports the continued profitable growth of the BU by driving the HR planning process for the organization to ensure strategies and policies are aligned and consistently applied.

- Works with the local HR organizations in Asia to support the implementation of HR strategies for the following key areas: HR Planning process, Talent Management and Performance Management processes, Diversity & Inclusion measures, Change Management processes.

- Drives and implements organizational change initiatives through planning and execution, and supporting safety initiatives throughout the BU.

- Coaches and provides guidance in Corporate HR programs to local HR teams in Asia.

- Supports coordination of global HR strategies and initiatives across Asia, and ensures HR programs are harmonized

- Works closely with the HR teams at HQs, and acts as the HR voice for critical HR issues from Asia.

- Promote positive work environment through compliance with standards and ensures fair and consistent execution of policies and practices.

Required Qualification and Experience, Critical Knowledge & Skills

- Master degree in Human Resources or a related field.

- Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant HRBP experience in MNC manufacturing environments, supporting organizations across Asia, especially India and North Asia (Korea, Japan, China).

- International work experience/assignment desirable

- Proven experience in coaching high-performing leadership teams

- HR background/labor law experience and knowledge in various Asian countries

- Proven experience in successfully driving organizational change, and in translating business objectives into effective HR strategies

- Strong consulting and relationship management skills, with the demonstrated ability to develop effective strategic relationships with senior stakeholders

- Experience in assessing and managing talent pools and driving strong talent development strategy

- Proficient in HR Systems; SAP and Success Factors experience highly preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills, including coaching, presentation, listening and negotiating as well as networking and influencing

- Strong Financial acumen and operational knowledge. Ability to quickly learn and understand how the business works

- Action & result oriented, energetic with practical organization, planning and problem-solving skills

- 15-20% travel within Asia

- Fluent in written and spoken English, Asian languages desirable
