The position is responsible for implementing the Human Resources Systems, Processes and Strategies for our Gujarat-based 4 plants to support the organizational priorities. The incumbent, along with leadership teams, will be responsible for identifying robust initiatives to enable the assessment and development of employees. She / He will also be responsible for driving a harmonious environment at the plant locations through effective interventions with union and contract workers, including external stakeholder engagement.
Experience: Qualification:
- 12+ years, a combination of HR Generalist and Talent Management will be preferred
- Experience in handling Manufacturing plant HR roles.
- Full-Time MBA - HR
- Additional certifications in HR, IR, and L&D.
- Work closely with business leaders as a trusted partner to drive organizational priorities by creating necessary HR interventions to support the same
- Ensure dissemination and drive understanding of all people processes at the plants - Entire employee life cycle - Hiring, Onboarding, Talent Management, Performance Management, General Discipline, Offboarding, Engagement, etc.
- Executing Performance & Talent management programs to improve Employee assessment and development leading to strengthened talent depth in the Organization.
- Working with functional heads to assess development needs, performing gap analysis, designing, and leading programs that build people management and leadership skills and capabilities.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating leadership and employee skill development programs (Technical & Behavioral) for Staff/Management staff level.
- Providing counsel and leadership to business leaders to develop training programs that align with the company's strategy.
- To ensure completion of Annual Appraisal as per schedule and keep track of performance assessment and data relating to performance appraisal.
- Conduct quality checks for KRA's / KPIs and Competency ratings to enable objective assessment of each function.
- Respond to various audit queries and incorporate changes if anything is recommended.
- Create a robust internal talent funnel to encourage filling positions internally rather than exploring external recruitment.
- To work towards ensuring the right cultural fit in the organization. Conducting psychometric tests, assessment centres and development centres wherever required.
- Interact with Union Representative wherever applicable and lead the collective bargaining process to ensure a harmonious work environment.
- Representing Management in various Courts /Tribunals and liaising with legal consultants at the location.
- External liaison & stakeholder engagement - local administration, relevant statutory and government bodies
- Ensuring skill development of Contract Labour as per requirement and smooth management CMS process at plant level.
- Ensure all HR & statutory compliances are followed, records are maintained and made available for any kind of Internal and external audits
- Guide & Support Plant Team HR on any HR & Compliance related activities.
