Job Description: Regional Head - West
Base Location: Mumbai
Reports To: National Head
Role Summary:
The Regional Head - West will spearhead the business growth for Entire West Region, driving AUM growth, capital markets initiatives, and wealth management strategies. This role entails leading a dynamic team, building, Channel management and managing key stakeholder relationships to enhance client engagement. The incumbent will also oversee broking operations across various channels while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across the West region.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture to drive business success.
2. Business Development & AUM Growth:
- Formulate and execute strategies to build and grow AUM in line with regional targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop customized financial solutions for clients.
- Ensure alignment with the company's overarching wealth and broking objectives.
3. Capital Markets & Derivatives:
- Drive revenue growth through the effective management of capital market activities, including equities, derivatives, securities lending, and commodities.
- Develop and implement innovative trading strategies to meet client needs.
4. Wealth & Broking Management:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality wealth management services to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage end-to-end broking operations, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to service standards.
5. Digital Broking & Innovation:
- Leverage digital broking platforms to enhance client onboarding, engagement, and experience.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to ensure competitive advantage.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and business partners.
- Act as the primary regional contact for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with national and global strategies.
7. Channel & Distribution Management:
- Design and implement effective channel strategies to expand client reach and optimize distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive channel performance and revenue.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications in Wealth Management, Broking, or related areas (e.g., NISM certifications).
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in capital markets, wealth management, or broking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of AUM growth, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of capital markets, derivatives, securities lending, and commodities.
- Expertise in wealth management, broking, and digital transformation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies.
- Adept at managing relationships with high-net-worth clients and institutional stakeholders.
