Job Description:


As the Regional Sales Head for Trade Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market penetration within your designated region. Leveraging your expertise in trade finance and your proven track record in sales leadership, you will lead a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets and expand our client base.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.

2. Identify key market segments, industry verticals, and target clients for trade finance solutions.

3. Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.

Team Leadership and Management:

1. Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

2. Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.

3. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporates, financial institutions, and trade partners.

2. Identify client needs and provide customized trade finance solutions to meet their requirements.

3. Drive new client acquisition through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

1. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the trade finance industry.

2. Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities and potential risks.

3. Use insights gathered to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

1. Track sales performance against targets, KPIs, and other metrics.

2. Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for senior management review.

3. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

- Proven experience in trade finance sales, with a minimum of 15 years in a leadership role.

- Deep understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit, trade loans, supply chain finance, etc.

- Strong network within the trade finance ecosystem, including corporates, financial institutions, and trade partners.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results under pressure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
